Al-Maqāṣid al-Ḥisān fī Taḥṣīnāt Ahl al-Īmān is a comprehensive compilation of ruqyah, protective adhkār, supplications, and remedies drawn from the Islamic tradition. It addresses spiritual protection and treatment in matters such as the evil eye, envy (ḥasad), jinn, and sorcery (siḥr).

The book includes a discussion of ruqyah and its principles, followed by supplications for protection in various specific circumstances and occasions. It also discusses the use of the Asmāʾ al-Ḥusnā (Beautiful Names of Allah) in supplication and protection, along with Qur’anic verses and Prophetic adhkār.

In addition to ruqyah and protective supplications, the work includes selected treatments and remedies from Prophetic medicine (al-Ṭibb al-Nabawī), giving the collection a broader scope than a conventional compilation of adhkār and duʿās.

The edition also contains eight scholarly taqārīẓ (commendations) from recognized scholars of Pakistan and India, documenting the book’s scholarly reception.

With its discussion of ruqyah, occasion-specific supplications, the Asmāʾ al-Ḥusnā, protective recitations, and selected remedies from Prophetic medicine, Al-Maqāṣid al-Ḥisān offers a practical collection of traditional Islamic means of protection, supplication, and healing.
