Part II: Avoiding Disobedience and Sins (Ijtinab al-Ma’asi)

Here, the book discusses the purification of the heart and limbs. It warns against outward and inward sins:

Sins of the Limbs: Controlling the tongue (from backbiting, lying, and arguing), the eyes, the ears, the stomach, the private parts, the hands, and the feet.

Sins of the Heart (The Destructive Vices / Al-Muhlikat): Dealing with spiritual diseases such as envy (hasad), ostentation (riya’), pride (kibr), and self-admiration ('ujb).
