al-Izdiyad al-Sani 'ala al-Yani' al-Jani الازدياد السني على اليانع الجني

The compilations of chains (asānīd) to the major books of hadith connecting Mufti Muḥammad Shafī, the former Grand Mufti of Pakistan, and founder of the Dar al-‘Ulūm Karachi, to Shāh ‘Abd al-Ghanī Mujaddidi al-Dihlawi (a major hadith scholar and transmitter of the previous century). Includes a lengthy introduction by the editor, a student of his son Mufti Taqi Usmani, as well as copious footnotes, biographies, and compilations of the chains of many leading Deobandi figures, such as Mawlana Anwar Shah Kashmiri, Shaykh Husain Madani, Shaykh Ahmad Ali Saharanpuri, Shaykh al-Hind Mahmud Hasan, and others. Also discusses some of the Sufi chains and transmissions of Mufti Shafi, as a khalifa of Hakim al-Ummah Mawlana Ashraf ‘Ali Thanwi.

This edition has extensive footnotes and a long muqadddimah. which are not available in the Pakistan edition.
