This is the Arabic translation of Akabir-e-Deoband Kya Thay (اکابر دیوبند کیا تھے), a celebrated work by Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani. It serves as an important bridge between the rich Islamic scholarly tradition of the Indian subcontinent and the wider Arabic-speaking Muslim world.

For many decades, the academic, spiritual, and reformist contributions of the scholars of Darul Uloom Deoband, founded in India in 1866, remained largely unknown in the Arab world or were sometimes misunderstood due to language barriers.
