Al-Hamziyya al-Nabawiyya fi Madh Khayr al-Bariyya الهمزية النبوية في مدح خير البرية

The poem Al-Hamziyya al-Nabawiyya fi Madh Khayr al-Bariyya (الهمزية النبوية في مدح خير البرية) in this specific edition is  composed by the prominent Ottoman-era judge, linguist, and poet Shihabuddin al-Khafaji (d. 1069 AH). He is highly celebrated for his extensive linguistic works, such as his commentary on Tafsir al-Baydawi (Hashiyat al-Khafaji) and Shifa of Qadi Iyad. This is not to be confused with the Al-Hamziyya al-Nabawiyya fi Madh Khayr al-Bariyya (الهمزية النبوية في مدح خير البرية) composed by the legendary 13th-century Egyptian Sufi poet Imam Sharaf al-Din al-Busiri (d. 696 AH).

This work stands as a brilliant example of late classical prophetic praise poetry (Madih Nabawi), utilizing the challenging hamzah-rhyming scheme to express deep devotion to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
