Among them the one compiled by Imam Abu Na'eem Ahmad ibn Abdullah al-Isbahan is significant for Isbahani was a Shafii scholar. This edition has been produced with painstaking research by Dr. Muhammad Abdul Shaheed Nomani from the musnad of Isbahani. Also contains articles discussing the stature of Imam Abu Hanifa as a Hadith scholar.
