After investigations we have determined that the huge problems we faced with this shipment originated at the port of origin, Karachi. The container was unloaded for an intensive exam by Customs and ANF (Anti Narcotic Force) but missed nearly 350 boxes  when it was reloaded after the exam. 14 March Update: Hold Removed. Delivery Awaited

Good news. Alhamdulillah, Customs hold is removed. Customs did unload and check our shipment (for "dangerous materials" in the boxes of books!) and have cleared it. Now they have to reload the boxes into the container and complete other routine procedures before it can be delivered to us. We hope to have the shipment in our warehouse in the next week...
