Hafiz al-Din al-Nasafi (d. 710 AH) wrote the concise but comprehensive book of Hanafi usul al-fiqh called al-Manar. Its sharah was written by Shaikh Muhammad Alauddin al-Husni under the title Ifada al-Anwar. This book is a sharah of this latter book by Ibn Abideen.

Al Musannaf is a comprehensive encyclopedia of Hadith by Imam Abdul Razzaq al Sanani (126 - 211 AH), listing 21033 hadith reports. Compiled by Habib al-Rahman Azami from various manuscrispts. Considered the largest collection of ahadith, it has 10,131 ahadith from fourteen books including Bukhari, Muslim, Nasaii, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ibn Maja, Muwatta, Musnad Ahmad, Musnad Darimi, Musnad Abu Yala, Musnad Abu Bakr al-Bazar, Mu'jam Tabarani large, medium and small, Jami Usul of Ibn Athir, and Majma Zawaid of Hafiz Haithmi.
