From the author: "This paper is an attempt at an ontological understanding of the nation of murabbi from an ISlamic perspective." The author Dr. Yedullah Kazmi was Assistant Professor in the department of Education at the International Islamic University, Malaysia.
This book not only presents an analytical study of Shah Wali Allah’s socio-political ideas, but also allows the great sage to speak for himself. It does so by rendering into English significant excerpts pertaining to socio-political matters from his magnum-opus, Hujjat Allah al-Balighah.
This book by Imran Ahsan Khan Nyazee (International Islamic University, Islamabad) on Islamic legal theory, presents the concepts of usul al-fiqh in a manner that reflects the traditional approach, but takes in account the needs of the modern lawyer, judge, and scholar.
This book is a work of art. The artist Neyyar Ahsan Rashid painted the ninety-nine Beautiful Names over a period of two decades. She also recorded her reflections about each of these names, which were then rendered into Arabic and English verse. The painting appears on the right hand page while the Arabic and English verses appear on the facing page on the left. The book has been beautifully produced under the guidance of Dr. Zafar Ishaq Ansari and will be a prized gift. It has been jointly published by the Islamic Research Institute of the International Islamic University, Islamabad and the Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding, Georgetown University.
