A study of the evolution of Islamic thought in the Subcontinent in general and Shah Wali Allah's contribution to it in particular for he represents the zenith of Islamic intellectual contribution and scholarly excellence in South Asia. About a dozen musnads have been compiled that contian the ahadith narrated by Imam Abu Hanifa. Among them the one compiled by Imam Abu Na'eem Ahmad ibn Abdullah al-Isbahan is significant for Isbahani was a Shafii scholar. This edition has been produced with painstaking research by Dr. Muhammad Abdul Shaheed Nomani from the musnad of Isbahani. Also contains articles discussing the stature of Imam Abu Hanifa as a Hadith scholar.
This contains the Kitab al-Sard wa'l-Fard of Abul Khair Ahmad bin Ismael al-Qazwini in Arabic with English translation. Kitab al-Sard itself is a collection of eleven very old and small collections from Sahifa Hammam ibn Munabbih to Sahifa Juwairiah ibn Asma. Includes a detailed introduction by Dr. Mohammad Hamidullah.
