This extensive work tries to fill a gap in the literature on the historical Jesus by considering simultaneously the Qur’anic account of Jesus’ life, its counterparts in the Gospels and historical sources.

Then, he surveys the work of Da'wah that occured during the Crusades at the hands of rulers such as Salahuddin al-Ayyubi, Yusuf ibn Tashfeen in the west, Abdul Mu'min ibn Ali, as well as at the hands of scholars such as Muhammad ibn Umar al-Razi, al-Qurtubi, and others. Surveys the different methodologies of dawah employed at the time, and the effects that this dawah had during the Crusades and afterwards.
In 1974 The National Assembly of Pakistan, through a historic constitutional amendment, declared the Ahmadis or Qadianis to be a non-Muslim minority.
